I just wanted to let you know that we decided to “take the plunge” and complete the “IQ Level 3 Award for Professional Investigators” exam. Regardless of whether licensing comes in, this is one of the measures that we have taken to provide “sufficient guarantees” to clients in relation to:
GDPR Article 28 (1):-
1. Where processing is to be carried out on behalf of a controller, the controller shall use only processors providing sufficient guarantees to implement appropriate technical and organisational measures in such a manner that processing will meet the requirements of this Regulation and ensure the protection of the rights of the data subject.
I am pleased to advise that all of us passed.
Elaine – our trace expert – passed with an outstanding result and if there was a “with distinction” award – then that is was she achieved!
